Erin Hochstatter
Software Consultant
Before making software, Erin spent nearly all of her available free time making physical things. She attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where she earned the AIADO Graduate Award for Designed Objects. While at SAIC, she noticed that many of the design problems she was being asked to solve seemed more intuitively addressed through a digital interface than a physical one. Not long after, she attended Mobile Makers Academy, a Chicago-based code school with emphasis on mobile technologies, completing that program in early 2013. After Mobile Makers, she joined the DevMynd team as an apprentice and spent several months studying and pair programming with more experienced team members. Erin successfully completed her apprenticeship and is now a full consultant with DevMynd.
Her most recently-released iOS app is the Booth Performance Tracker for the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and she more recently collaborated on updating a website for LEAPInnovations.
When she’s not crafting apps at DevMynd (or at home), you can find her drawing, woodworking, gardening, running and trying to communicate using only Adventure Time gifs.
