Eli Sidman

Sr Design Consultant
Curious about the intersection of science and art, Eli stumbled upon user-centered design while creating interactive science demonstrations as a lab instructor in the MIT physics department. Fascinated by intentionally designing learning objects and experiences, he pursued his interest at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) where he received a masters in Designed Objects. As a designer he has reimagined the future of digital learning with Samsung, developed design curriculum for middle and high school students with Experience Institute and the Teaching Institute for Excellence in STEM, and led UX design for Leap Kit, an award winning set of tools for designing your own 90-day learning project. At DevMynd, he brings a user-centered approach to breaking down tough client problems and crafting engaging digital solutions. In his spare time Eli teaches design thinking to undergraduates at SAIC, organizes nerdy art nights with friends, and gets outside to play tennis as much as Chicago weather allows.
